Enjoying my Mom's visit

The last two months have been great having my Mom here. We enjoyed her visit so much especially with Billy's job being so time consuming, it was nice to have her company. Thank you Mom for a great visit. We miss you!

Saarbrucken Park

the park had a miniature buildings of places from all over......this is St Peters Bisilica in Rome.
Most of the miniature places, of course, cost money to move the pieces.

Our trip to the Rhine at the town Rudesheim. Our town has a train that goes straight to the Rhine.....it was a great day trip.

On the lift going up to the vineyards

Enjoying the Biergarten.

Can't really tell, but that is a castle in the background.....my camera won't focus on both.
My Princess and Prince
Muttertag (Mother's Day) in Brayden's class. They had a little program for the parents.
Mallory's class had a Nature walk for Muttertag. We saw a working farm and went on a walking trail.

Easter 2011

We had a wonderful Easter with my Mom and some of our friends came over for dinner that night. The kids had a great time hunting eggs and learning why we have Easter. I have been telling them the story about how Jesus died on the cross for our sins. One night I was ease dropping on them in Brayden's bedroom when Mallory and Brayden were talking about the crown of thorns on his head and the nails they used to nail him to the cross.......it was nice to know they are learning the story of Easter.

German Chocolate Bunny!

Ceramic eggs Aunt Vickie and Uncle Kevin sent the kids to paint.....Mallory painted them all! She loves anything to do with art.
So excited to have her nails painted for the first time! (Billy wasn't to thrilled the Easter bunny sent nail polish this year....oops)
Ready for some water gun fits! They were soaked the rest of the day.
