This Fourth of July, we decided to try camping with the kids. So we headed to Garmisch in the Swiss Alps for the weekend and to cool off from the hot summer heat here in Mannheim. Well, we did get to cool off, but the weather wasn't the greatest. It rained so much, we decided to head back a day early. We did have fun, the kids loved it and never once complained about the weather or anything. Our fourth was very wet, but it did clear up for some fireworks at the resort which was a nice little break for the dampen campsite. Sorry I didn't get the camera out much, but here's a little bit of our trip.

drying out our stuff before packing it up....it was sunny the whole time we were packing up, so we decided to go on a bike ride after we finished packing everything........the bike ride didn't last long. Soon after we left on the bike ride it started to pour again, so went back to the car and headed home.
