We have finally got back in a normal routine after our vacation. Mallory and Brayden started German Kindergarten two days after we came back. They really like it and I am so happy to say they are in a German school.....I really hope they pick up the language and learn a little more about our surroundings here. The school they are going to is a Protestant church school. They go to church, have PE and cooking once a week. We also will learn more about their holidays and celebrating them. In November I have to make lanterns for St Martin's Day, for example. The school is really strict about what we pack in their lunch boxes. Everything needs to be fresh, no packaged foods or sugar! I don't mind the sugar part, but having a hard time with packaged foods. I had a bag of 100cal. Chex mix in Mallory's bag and they wouldn't allow her to eat it. I am working on it.
Also, these past few weeks Billy turned 36 and we went to the annual MP Ball. Let's see if some of you can guess what dress I have on! :)
My Mom gave me this set of puzzle cupcakes to make different characters with. The kids choose the fish, so I tried to make Nemo. Everyone really enjoyed it. It was also a lot of fun making.
Mallory's sand art project
My friend Cheri gave me a few of these for the kids. Mallory loves art projects, so it was right up her alley!
