Disney Magic Mediterranean 10-Day Cruise

We had a wonderful trip on our first cruise as a family. Everyone had the time of their lives. It was the best family trip we have taken that everyone had 100% fun. All of our trips are fun, but with it being all inclusive, we didn't have to worry about hotels that were family friendly, restaurants that had a good kid's menu, entertainment for the kids that was really fun (kids can only take so much of walking around looking at things), etc. It was stress free! Enjoy our pictures.

Playing on the plane

We actually saw our ship from the airplane!
Mallory and Brayden were chosen to wave to the shuttle bus with Mickey hands.
As we waited to board, we had a chance to see the Spanish Mickey (you will notice Mickey and Minnie changes outfits to the different ports of call)
First stop on the ship, Lunch, while we waited for our stateroom to be clean and ready for us. (Mallory's hat was something I found at the Thrift shop just days before we left...I wish they had a Mickey one too for Brayden, but no such luck)
They loved all the characters! I was so glad they weren't scared of any of them.

Our room
The welcome celebration
A dip in the Mickey kids pool
Playing with Brayden's new toys while waiting for all the Princesses

Alice in Wonderland
Belle from Beauty and the Beast
Princess and the Frog
Cinderella
Aurora from Sleeping Beauty
Snow White
Mallory discovered she loved the water slide
Caught him yawning in the pool

Ice Cream and swimming......such the life
First stop........Malta

Pinocchio
Snow White
More of Malta while we were leaving the port.

We had a towel creature waiting in our room every night. The kids really enjoyed all the fun animals.
Watching Disney movies and playing before bedtime.
Breakfast greetings
Of course they had Mickey waffles every morning

In the lobby of the ship
Tunisian Minnie

Tunisian Mickey (we didn't really get off for this port because nothing was walking distance)

Our view of Naples while eating breakfast
Billy and I ventured off while the kids stayed on the ship at the Oceaneer's Club. We asked them everyday what they wanted to do and they chose to stay on the ship practically the whole time.

Woody and Jessie (Brayden was SO excited)
To our surprise, we were chosen as one of the Magical families on the cruise ship. The personel at the customer service each choose a family on the ship and give them extra special surprises throughout. Mallory and Brayden were so happy to have Donald and Daisy. (Mallory has slept with her Daisy ever since that day.....she loves Daisy now)
Civitavecchia, Italy at a normal market day (lots of fresh Italian cheeses)
Billy speaking his Italian to a local trying to buy some wine.

a fortification near the port
The kids had a lot of fun learning shuffle board

The Mickey and Minnie dolls they have were mine. I got them when I was in the fourth grade on my first vacation to Disney World. Mallory and Brayden are having a lot of fun with them now.

Portovenere, Italy (just south of Cinque Terre)

This region is known for making Pesto, Olive oil, white wine and Froccacia Bread

Mallory found a friend to play with at the pool
Our character breakfast

The waiters made different hats out of napkins.....Mallory is suppose to be Minnie.
Ajaccio, Corsica (French Island just south of France. Also, where Napoleon is originally from)
Beautiful island

Napoleon and his brothers
another Napoleon sign
I don't know who's place this was, but someone with some nice taste! Loved the beautiful gardens.
Cute mailbox
memorial of Napoleon
I wonder if Corsica is where my ancestors are from??
Villefranche-sur-Mer, Italy

This would make a great post card

The kids finally got off the ship to go to the beach......not the type we are use too. The "sand" was little tiny stones that stuck to everything!

Our dinner buddies on the cruise are from Chile. Their daughter, Emma, is the same age as Mallory and they had a lot of fun together. Now that we are gone, Mallory every now and then will say she wants to go see Emma.

falling asleep on the boat back to our ship.

The last day on the ship the Oceaneer Club put on a little good-bye skit with the kids that went to the club.
Mallory is the second one to the end in blue capris.

Brayden is right behind Mickey

Our dinner buddies: Justin, Francisca and Emma
Our waiters: Louis (from India) and Oxana (from Russia)
Our last dinner with Emma
Another towel creature (snake)
All of the shows were great! We enjoyed them all.
Playing in the airport on our very long (12hr) wait
We finally got them to take a nap while we were waiting.
